Semi-slant Pseudo-riemannian Submersions from Indefinite Almost Contact 3-structure Manifolds onto Pseudo-riemannian Manifolds

In this paper, we introduce the notion of a semi-slant pseudoRiemannian submersion from an indefinite almost contact 3-structure manifold onto a pseudo-Riemannian manifold. We investigate the geometry of foliations determined by horizontal and vertical distributions and provide a non-trivial example. We also find a necessary and sufficient condition for a semi-slant submersion to be totally geo...

Pseudo-riemannian Manifolds with Commuting Jacobi Operators

We study the geometry of pseudo-Riemannian manifolds which are Jacobi–Tsankov, i.e. J (x)J (y) = J (y)J (x) for all x, y. We also study manifolds which are 2-step Jacobi nilpotent, i.e. J (x)J (y) = 0 for all x, y.

Some Ricci Flat (pseudo-) Riemannian Geometries

We define a class of two dimensional surfaces conformally related to minimal surfaces in flat three dimensional geometries. By the utility of the metrics of such surfaces we give a construction of the metrics of 2N dimensional Ricci flat (pseudo-) Riemannian geometries.

Locally conformal flat Riemannian manifolds with constant principal Ricci curvatures and locally conformal flat C-spaces

It is proved that every locally conformal flat Riemannian manifold all of whose Jacobi operators have constant eigenvalues along every geodesic is with constant principal Ricci curvatures. A local classification (up to an isometry) of locally conformal flat Riemannian manifold with constant Ricci eigenvalues is given in dimensions 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. It is shown that any n-dimensional (4 ≤ n ≤ 8)...

A Splitting Theorem for Kähler Manifolds with Constant Eigenvalues of the Ricci Tensor

It is proved that a compact Kähler manifold whose Ricci tensor has two distinct constant non-negative eigenvalues is locally the product of two Kähler-Einstein manifolds. A stronger result is established for the case of Kähler surfaces. Irreducible Kähler manifolds with two distinct constant eigenvalues of the Ricci tensor are shown to exist in various situations: there are homogeneous examples...
